Advisors and administrative staff have access to four different types of reports in Inspire. To create a new report or access a saved report, navigate to the Report page from the left-hand navigation bar.

To create a new report, first be sure you are on the Create Report tab. When there, you will see four different types of reports available:

1. Students

Use this report to pull a list of students who meet specific criteria.  This report operates much like the Advanced Search functionality.

2. Appointments

Use this report to pull data and information about appointments in Inspire. This report allows you to pull appointment information for specific time frames, advisors, appointment types, appointment modalities, session topics, and more.

3. Advising Notes

Use this report to pull advising notes for students with specified criteria. This report allows you to pull advising notes from specific time frames, using keywords, for particular session topics, authors, and interaction types, and beyond.

Note: when users pull this report, they have to download the report to see the actual content of the advising note. The view of the report in Inspire only shows users the advising note subject line, but not the note content.

4. Event Attendance

Use this report to pull information on event attendance for events scheduled and tracked in Inspire. This report allows you to pull all events or solely events created by the user. It also provides options for student attendance and rsvp tracking.
