Advisors can connect their Zoom account to Inspire to offer Zoom-supported virtual meetings. This option ensures an individualized Zoom link is generated for each individual appointment, rather than needing to use the same link for all appointments when using the "Virtual Appointment" modality. 


To connect your Zoom account to Inspire, follow the following steps. 


First, navigate to your user settings by hovering over the left-hand navigation bar and select Settings (below).



Scroll down to the Synced Calendars section and click "Connect Zoom Account."


A box will pop up for the Zoom/Inspire connection. Click "Connect" and proceed to the next steps.



You will be taken to a new internet tab to enter your Zoom credentials. Select "SSO" to login to your DU account. 


In the "Company Domain" box, type "udenver" and proceed to login through your DU Zoom account. 


Return to your user settings to check whether the connection has successfully been established. You can disconnect from your Zoom account at any point. 


Once the Zoom integration has been successfully configured, you will see a "Zoom Virtual Meeting" option under the Appointment Modality dropdown. 


Upon a student registering for a specific appointment slot, an individualized Zoom link will be generated and pushed to your Outlook calendar.
