Users can navigate to the student profile for a particular student in a number of ways. First, users can simply search for a student using the search bar at the top of the screen.
Secondly, users can pull up a student list (or your advisee list) and simply click the name of one of the students on the list to be taken to their profile.
Upon navigating to a student profile, you will see many tabs for student information, including Overview, Engagement Opportunities, Notes, Alerts, Advisors, Communication, Course History, Events, and Library.
You will also find a collapsed box titled "View Student Summary" that acts as a snapshot of a student's information. Note that the Student Summary Card can be collapsed at any time by simply re-clicking the box. One important thing to notice is the yellow Confidential box on a Student Summary Card. This indicator communicates that the student has an active FERPA release on file (see more about the Confidential indicator on the FERPA indicator page).
