Inspire categorizes students as "active" or "inactive" based on the criteria below:

Active:

Inactive:

Incoming deposited students not yet enrolled in a future term
Incoming deposited students enrolled in a future term
Students who were previously registered for a course for a term that was active in the last 3 calendar years (but not currently enrolled in a live term). This includes students taking a quarter off and students who have graduated.
